Frequently asked questions

What leaders ask us before getting started.

What is a sovereign AI agent?

A sovereign AI agent is an agent whose data, models and logs are hosted in Canada and controlled by entities subject to Canadian law. It runs in your environment or in an isolated Canadian cloud, and its logs are encrypted with a key you control.

Can an AI agent comply with Québec's Law 25?

Yes, if compliance is built in from the design stage: a privacy impact assessment before the project, data minimization, transparency on automated decisions, a log of every action and human review of sensitive decisions. Every agent Angel Softwares delivers goes through a production-readiness sheet approved by your person in charge of the protection of personal information.

Does the CLOUD Act apply to data hosted in Canada?

It can. The CLOUD Act targets providers subject to U.S. jurisdiction, wherever their servers are. Hosting data in Canada with a U.S. provider is therefore not enough: we choose infrastructure based on who controls it, not only where it is.

Which processes should you hand to an AI agent first?

High-volume, repetitive processes with manageable risk: processing claims, invoices, quotes or incoming email. Sensitive decisions, large amounts and uncertain cases stay with a person.

How long does it take to put an agent into production?

It depends on the process and your systems. We start with a prototype on your real documents, measured against your current way of working. The agent goes into production only once the quality thresholds set with you are met.

What does the free 30-minute assessment include?

A conversation about your context, mapping a first process, a Law 25 and sovereignty review of that process, then a clear recommendation: prototype, prepare, or not now. The assessment comes with no commitment.
